Coming from the South side of San Antonio:

The "Check In" is 22.5 miles north of the town of Sabinal. Travel west on Hwy 90 from San Antonio, past Casterville, D'Hanis, to Sabinal. Turn right at the light onto "Main Street in Sabinal". After leaving the small town of Sabinal, Veer to the right on HWY 187 north to Utopia. This will take you to Utopia. Office is located north of Utopia on the right side of the road at the Windmill Feed Store. IF you veered to the left (HWY 127), that will take you to Concan then Garner State Park. Pretty scenic drive! IF you did take that direction, then turn RIGHT on 1050 to Utopia, and turn Left in Utopia. See map for details.

The "Check In" is approximately 34 miles west of the town of Bandera. IF you are coming from the north side of San Antonio, take Hwy 16 to Bandera, Turn right at the light and go all the way through town without turning. Plenty of good place to eat, so you may want to take a break before coming to your home away from home. After you leave cowboy capital of Bandera, turn left (west) on "Farm Road 470". Best landmark for this turn is the Bandera Electric CO-OP. The CO-OP is on the right, and "470" is on the left. Travel west until you come to a "Y" intersection. Turn LEFT onto 187 and travel approximately 1.5 miles, you will see the "Windmill Feed Store" on the left.
